13. For this reason, gird the waist of your mind, be sober, and hope perfectly in the grace that is offered to you in the revelation of Jesus Christ.

Hebrews 12:14: "Seek to live in peace with all and sanctification; without it no one will see the Lord." Sanctification is again mentioned as something essential to see God and live in peace with the people around us.
