Psalm 8 is a song of praise to God for His greatness and for granting man the position of dominating upon creation. Genesis 1:26: "And God said, Let us make man in our image, according to our likeness; have dominion over the fish of the sea, the birds of heaven, over domestic animals, all earth, and all over all reptiles that crawl on the earth. Isaiah 40:26: "Raise your eyes up and see. Who created these things? He who makes his army out of stars, all well -told, which he calls by name; for being great in strength and strong in Power, not only one is missing.
