Tobias 7 narrates the journey of Tobias and Azarias to the house of Rachel, relative of Tobias, to borrow money for Tobias. During the trip, they stop to wash their feet in a river and a fish almost attack them. Azarias tells Tobias to pick up the fish, which will later be used to heal Tobias's father of Tobit. The verses selected below are related to the theme of healing:

Tobias 6:2: "Take the fish". In this verse, Azarias tells Tobias to catch the fish that almost attacked them in the river. This is important because the fish will be used later to cure Tobit blindness.

John 9:1-7: This is the account of the healing of a blind man by Jesus. The cure is performed with a sludge made of saliva and earth that Jesus applies to the eyes of man. This verse is relevant because it shows another form of healing of a physical condition, in this case blindness.

Matthew 9:27-30: In this account, two blind people find Jesus and ask to be healed. Jesus touches his eyes and they are healed. This is important because it shows the healing power of Jesus.

Mark 8:22-26: This is another account of Jesus healing the blindness of a man. Jesus puts saliva in the eyes of man, and then he begins to see, though blurred. This verse is relevant because it shows that healing can be achieved in different ways.

Acts 3:1-10: This is the account of Peter and John healing a lame man at the entrance of the temple. They ask the man to walk and immediately he is healed and begins to walk. This is important because it shows that healing can happen immediately and miraculously.
