Leviticus 18 deals with sexual prohibitions in God's law for the people of Israel. The verses selected below deal with different aspects of prohibited sexual relationships and their consequences:
Deuteronomy 27:20: "Damn one who lie with his father's wife, for he profaped his father's bed." This verse condemns sexual intercourse with the father's wife, one of the prohibitions mentioned in Leviticus 18:8.
Proverbs 6:32: "He who commits adultery has no judgment; destroys himself." This verse warns of the severity of adultery, a sexual sin forbidden in Leviticus 18:20.
1 Corinthians 6:9: "Do you not know that the unrighteous will not inherit the kingdom of God? Do not be mistaken: neither unclean nor adulterers, nor effective nor homosexuals."
