41. Demons were driven out, howling as they departed from their victims, "You are the Son of God!" He rebuked them and would not allow them to speak, for they knew he was the Messiah.

Isaiah 53:4 - "Truly he took our sickness upon Himself and carried our pains; and we reputed him for distress, wounded to God and oppressed." This verse is quoted by Luke to explain how Jesus' healing were a way of fulfilling the messianic prophecy of Isaiah 53:4 that the Messiah would carry the diseases and pains of his people.
