4. who said to those in front of him, "Take off his filthy garments." Then turning to Joshua, he said, "See, I have taken away your guilt. Now I will clothe you with rich garments."

Zechariah 3 reports the vision of a divine judgment in which the high priest Joshua is accused and then purified from his sins. The main theme of the chapter is justification before God, the removal of guilt and redemption. Five verses that address these themes are:
