32. Inquire concerning the days of antiquity, which were before you, from the day when God created man upon the earth, from one end of heaven to another, if anything similar has ever occurred, or whether any such thing has ever been known,

Deuteronomy 11:26-28 - "Behold, today I put before you the blessing and the curse: the blessing, when you fulfill the commandments of the Lord your God, which today I command you; but the curse, if you do not fulfill the commandments of the Lord if you do not fulfill the Lord Your God, but you deviate from the way that I command you today, to follow other gods you have not known. " This verse highlights the importance of choosing to obey God and follow his ways in order to receive blessings rather than curses. It is a warning that Moses makes Israel in Deuteronomy 4.
