15. Go to him in the morning; behold, he will go out to the waters. And you will stand to meet him above the bank of the river. And you will take, in your hand, the staff that was turned into a serpent.

Exodus 7:22 - "Then the wizards of Egypt did the same with their enchantments; and the heart of Pharaoh hardened, and did not hear them, as the Lord had said." This verse shows how the Egyptian wizards managed to replicate the transformation of water into blood through their own enchantments, but Pharaoh was not convinced to release the Hebrews.

Exodus 7:25 - "And seven days passed after the Lord wounded the river." This verse marks the end of the first plague, and shows how God's pests were progressively getting worse and lasting longer, intensifying the pressure on Pharaoh to release the Hebrews.
