3. And saying: Son of man, I send thee to the children of Israel, to a rebellious people, that hath revolted from me, they, and their fathers, have transgressed my covenant even unto this day.

Acts 20:26-27: "Therefore, on this day I declare you that I am innocent of the blood of all, for I did not fail to proclaim you all the will of God." The apostle Paul declared his faithfulness by fulfilling the mission of preaching God's Word, similar to Ezekiel's commitment to warn the people of Israel of God's will.
