Chapter 20 of 2 kings relates the story of Hezekiah, king of Judah, who badly gets sick. Psalm 30:2: "Lord my God, I cry to help, and you heal me." This verse shows the attitude of Hezekiah by praying to God for healing in his illness.

Isaiah 38:1: "In those days, Hezekiah became sick and almost died. The prophet Isaiah, son of Amoz, went to him and said, 'Thus saith the Lord, Give your family orders, because you will die; will not recover '.
