Abimelech, however, was not a descendant of Judah, and therefore his rise to the throne was not in accordance with this prophecy.

A superior officer observes all this; and who is superior to him observes them. " This verse talks about the importance of justice and equity in governance. Abimelech, as a leader, failed to rule with justice and equity, which led to his fall.
