We are handed over to death all day; we are reputed as sheep to the slaughterhouse. But in all these things we are more than winners, by the one who loved us. Philippians 1:29: "For you were granted to you, in relation to Christ, not only to believe in Him, but also to suffer by Him." This verse shows that suffering and persecution are part of the Christian's so -called, and that it is a grace granted to them in relation to Christ.
