4. And the Lord will cause a miracle between the possessions of Israel and the possessions of the Egyptians, so that nothing at all will perish from those things which belong to the sons of Israel.”

In Exodus 9, God continues to send pests about Egypt as a way of showing his power and forcing Pharaoh to free the people from Israel. Pests include the death of cattle, ulcers in animals and humans, hail and grasshops.

Job 37:13: "He makes them fall, whether to discipline or to demonstrate his merciful love." This verse talks about how God uses natural events to discipline or show mercy to human beings, which can be applied to the sending of pests to Egypt in Exodus 9.

Isaiah 45:7: "I raise the light and create darkness, promote peace and a disgrace; I, the Lord, do all these things." This verse talks about how God has absolute control over everything that happens on earth, including the ability to send pests and misfortunes.
