7. But the almighty Lord has harmed him, and he has delivered him into the hands of a woman, and he has pierced him through.

Judite 16 narrates Judite's singing after his victory over General Assyrian Holofernes. She thanks God for giving her strength and courage to overcome the enemy of her people. The following verses are related to gratitude and praise to God for their help and protection.
