Deuteronomy, 4

7. For what nation [is there so] great, who [hath] God [so] nigh unto them, as the LORD our God [is] in all [things that] we call upon him [for]?

Deuteronomy 11:26-28 - "Behold, today I put before you the blessing and the curse: the blessing, when you fulfill the commandments of the Lord your God, which today I command you; but the curse, if you do not fulfill the commandments of the Lord if you do not fulfill the Lord Your God, but you deviate from the way that I command you today, to follow other gods you have not known. " This verse highlights the importance of choosing to obey God and follow his ways in order to receive blessings rather than curses. It is a warning that Moses makes Israel in Deuteronomy 4.
