19. Now therefore send and gather all Israel to me at Mount Carmel, and the four hundred and fifty prophets of Ba'al and the four hundred prophets of Ashe'rah, who eat at Jez'ebel's table."

1 Kings 18 narrates the confrontation between the prophet Elijah and the prophets of Baal on Mount Carmel. Elijah challenges Baal's prophets to make a sacrifice to their God and to invoke him to light the fire of sacrifice. Baal's prophets try, but to no avail. Then Elijah makes a sacrifice to God and asks him to light the fire, which happens. After that, Elijah kills the prophets of Baal. 1 Corinthians 8:6: "But for us, there is one God, the Father, whom they are all things, and to whom we live; and one Lord, Jesus Christ, for which they are all things, and we for he." This verse highlights God's unity, and how he is the Father of all things, and how all things were created through Jesus Christ, the Son of God.
