Deuteronomy, 1

1. These are the words which Moses spoke to all Israel beyond the Jordan ( in the desert, in the Arabah, opposite Suph, between Paran and Tophel, Laban, Hazeroth and Dizahab;

Verses related to Deuteronomy, 1:

Deuteronomy 1 is a chapter where Moses recalls the history of the Israelites since they left Egypt until they reached the border of the promised land. He also urges the people to trust God and obey their commandments so that they can receive the blessings he has promised. Here are five verses related to the topics addressed in Deuteronomy 1:

Exodus 18:20-"Teach them the statutes and the laws, and show them the way in which they must walk and the work they must do." Moses reminds the people that God has given them laws and statutes to follow, and that it is important to teach and obey them.

Deuteronomy 6:4-6 - "Hear, Israel, the Lord our God is the only Lord. Thou shalt love the Lord thy God with all thy heart, and with all thy soul, and of all thy forces. These words that I command you today will be in your heart. " Moses emphasizes the importance of loving God and keeping his commandments.

Deuteronomy 8:2-3 - "And thou shalt remind you all the way by which the Lord your God has guided you in the desert these forty years, to humiliate you, and to prove you, to know what was in your heart, if you kept your own commandments or not. And humiliated you, and let you be hungry, and sustained you with manna, that you did not know, nor your parents knew him; to make you imply that man will not live only of bread, but that of everything What comes out of the mouth of the Lord will live the man. " Moses reminds the people of how God guided them and sustained in the desert, and that it went to teach them how to trust him and obey their commandments.

Deuteronomy 10:12-13 - "Now, O Israel, who is that the Lord your God requires from you, but that you have the Lord thy God, who you walk in all his ways, and the Ames, and the Lord, and the Lord, and to the Lord, and to the Lord, and to the Lord, and to the Lord, and to Your God with all your heart and your soul, to keep the commandments of the Lord and your statutes that I command you today, for your good? " Moses emphasizes that obeying God is for our own good, and that this is what He requires from us.

Deuteronomy 28:1-2 - "And if you hear the voice of the Lord your God, being careful to keep all His commandments that I command you today, the Lord your God will exalt you over all the nations of the earth. These blessings will come upon you and reach you when you hear the voice of the Lord your God. " Moses promises to the people that if they obey God, He will bless them abundantly.
