3. And the One who was sitting there was similar in appearance to a stone of jasper and sardius. And there was an iridescence surrounding the throne, in aspect similar to an emerald.

" The book of Ezekiel also presents a view of the heavenly throne of God, and the description resembles the description of Revelation 4.

Psalm 29:2: "Give the Lord the glory due to His name; worship the Lord in the splendor of His holiness." This verse of psalms is a call to worship of God, which is a central theme in Revelation 4, where living beings and elders worship the Lord before His throne.

Psalm 47:8: "God reigns over the nations; God is sitting in His holy throne." This verse of the psalms emphasizes God's sovereignty and its reign over the nations, which is reflected in the view of the heavenly throne in Revelation 4.
