Exodus, 35

2. Work is to be done for six days, but the seventh is to be a holy day for you, a day of complete rest, consecrated to Yahweh. Whoever does any work on that day shall be put to death.

And not only did we expected, but to themselves They even first gave themselves to the Lord, and then to us, by the will of God. " This verse reports the generosity of the brothers of Macedonia, who, even in the midst of poverty and tribulation, voluntarily contributed to the Lord's work.
