Psalms, 46

1. Unto the end. A Psalm for the sons of Korah.

2. All nations, clap your hands. Shout joyfully to God with a voice of exultation.

3. For the Lord is exalted and terrible: a great King over all the earth.

4. He has subjected the peoples to us and subdued the nations under our feet.

5. He has chosen us for his inheritance: the splendor of Jacob, whom he has loved.

6. God ascends with jubilation, and the Lord with the voice of the trumpet.

7. Sing psalms to our God, sing psalms. Sing psalms to our King, sing psalms.

8. For God is the King of all the earth. Sing psalms wisely.

9. God will reign over the peoples. God sits upon his holy throne.

10. The leaders of the peoples have been gathered together by the God of Abraham. For the strong gods of the earth have been exceedingly exalted.

Psalm 46 is a hymn of trust in God, which is our refuge and fortress in the midst of the adversities and conflicts of life. He states the certainty that God is present and active, even when everything seems to be crumbling around us. Below are five verses related to the topics addressed in this psalm:

Isaiah 41:10: "Do not fear, because I am with you; do not haunt yourself, because I am your God; I strengthen you, and help you, and I support you with my faithful right hand." This passage emphasizes God's presence in the midst of difficulties and his ability to strengthen and sustain us.

Philippians 4:6-7: "You are not restless for anything; before, your petitions are all known before God, prayer and supplications, with thanksgiving. And the peace of God, which exceeds all understanding,, will keep your hearts and your minds in Christ Jesus. " These verses urge us to trust God instead of worrying about adverse circumstances and seeking their peace through prayer and gratitude.

John 14:27: "I leave you peace, my peace I give you; I do not give it I give it as the world gives it. If you do not turn your heart, nor be affected." Jesus promises us his peace, which is different from the peace that the world offers, and encourages us not to be anxious or frightened.

Psalm 91:1-2: "He who dwells in the hideout of the Most High, in the shadow of the omnipotent shall rest. I will say the Lord: He is my God, my refuge, my fortress, and I will trust him." These verses emphasize that God is our safe haven and our unshakable fortress, where we can rest confidently.

Romans 8:38-39: "For I am sure that neither death, nor life, nor angels, principalists, nor future things, nor potestes, height, nor depth, nor any other creature It can separate us from the love of God, who is in Christ Jesus our Lord. " These verses assure us that nothing can separate us from the love of God, not even the adversities or evil forces of this world.
