2. And by the word of the Lord, he cried out against the altar. And he said: “O altar, O altar! Thus says the Lord: ‘Behold, a son will be born to the house of David, Josiah by name. Psalm 119:105: "Lamp for my feet is your word, and light to my way." This verse highlights the importance of God's Word as a guide to the Christian life. The Prophet in 1 Kings 13 would have avoided death if he had faithfully followed God's instructions.
