6. Then Yahweh said to Joshua: "Do not be afraid, for tomorrow at this hour I will give them to you that you may sacrifice them to me. Cut the hocks of their horses and burn their chariots of war."

2 Samuel 22:47: "Long live the Lord, and blessed be my rock, and exalted be the God of my salvation." This verse speaks of worship and gratitude to God for His salvation. The Israelites could worship and thank God for the victory in the conquest of Canaan.
