11. And there came an angel of the LORD, and sat under an oak which [was] in Ophrah, that [pertained] unto Joash the Abiezrite: and his son Gideon threshed wheat by the winepress, to hide [it] from the Midianites.

Judges 6 tells the story of Gideon, a young man who was called by God to lead the Israelites in the fight against the Midianites. '"This verse speaks of the importance of trusting God in times of difficulty. David trusted God to defeat Goliath, and Gideon also trusted God to lead the Israelites against the Midianites. Both men believed that God was with them and could do great things through Him.
