6. Therefore, the Lord accomplished this word the next day. And all the animals of the Egyptians died. Yet truly, of the animals of the sons of Israel, nothing at all perished.

In Exodus 9, God continues to send pests about Egypt as a way of showing his power and forcing Pharaoh to free the people from Israel. Pests include the death of cattle, ulcers in animals and humans, hail and grasshops.
