10. For this is the testament which I will set before the house of Israel, after those days, says the Lord. I will instill my laws in their minds, and I will inscribe my laws on their hearts. And so, I will be their God, and they shall be my people.

This new covenant is superior to the old covenant established with Israel.

Hebrews 9:15: "Therefore Christ is the mediator of a new covenant so that those who are called receive the promise of eternal inheritance, since he died as a rescue by transgressions committed under the first covenant." This verse points out that the death of Jesus Christ was the price paid to establish the new covenant and fulfill divine promises. Through it, those who are called can receive the promise of eternal inheritance.
