Chapter 8 of Genesis deals with the end of the flood and the departure of Noah and his family from the ark. It is described as the waters gradually lowered and finally the ark rested over Mount Ararate. Noah sent a crow and a dove to verify the existence of dry earth. When the dove returned with an olive sheet, Noah knew that the waters had dried. At the end of the chapter, Noah builds an altar and offers sacrifices to God.

Matthew 24:37-39-"As it was in the days of Noah, so it will be at the coming of the Son of man. For in the days before the flood, the people lived eating and drinking, marrying and giving themselves to marriage, until the The day Noah entered the ark; and they realized nothing, until the flood came and took them to all. So it will be at the coming of the Son of man.
