The prophets of Ahab tell him that he succeeds in battle, but the prophet of the Lord, Micaiah, prophesies the defeat and death of Ahab. Amos 3:7: "Certainly the Lord God will do nothing without first revealing His secret to His servants, the prophets." This verse highlights the importance of the true prophets, who are chosen by God to receive their revelations and guidance.
