23. Her fame spread more and more, the older she grew in her husband's house; she lived to the age of one hundred and five. She emancipated her maid, then died in Bethulia and was buried in the cave where Manasseh her husband lay.

Judite 16 narrates Judite's singing after his victory over General Assyrian Holofernes. She thanks God for giving her strength and courage to overcome the enemy of her people. The following verses are related to gratitude and praise to God for their help and protection.

Isaiah 25:1: "O Lord, you are my God; I will exalt you and praise your name, for you have done wonderful things; your ancient advice are true and firmness." This verse expresses the worship of God for His wonderful works and their perfect plans.

2 Samuel 22:47: "Long live the Lord, my rock! Blessed be my God, the rock of my salvation!" This verse shows confidence in God as the source of salvation and strength in difficult times.
