20. And they made two rings of gold, and attached them in front to the lower part of the two shoulder-pieces of the ephod, at its joining above the skilfully woven band of the ephod.

Chapter 39 of Exodus details the preparation of priestly garments for the tabernacle service. The cloak, the priestly vest, the tiara, the embroidered tunic, the belt and the thin linen robes to be worn during the ceremonies of worship to God were done. Leviticus 8:7 - "He wore Aaron with the tunic, adjusted the belt around him, put it on the priestly vest and adjusted it around him." This verse describes the garment that Aaron, the first high priest, used during his ordination.

Ezekiel 44:17- "When they enter the inner doors of the courtyard, they should wear linen clothes; they should not wear anything wool while serving inside the courtyard, next to the altar and the temple walls."
