25. The hail struck down everything that was in the field throughout all the land of Egypt, both man and beast; and the hail struck down every plant of the field, and shattered every tree of the field.

In Exodus 9, God continues to send pests about Egypt as a way of showing his power and forcing Pharaoh to free the people from Israel. Pests include the death of cattle, ulcers in animals and humans, hail and grasshops.

Job 37:13: "He makes them fall, whether to discipline or to demonstrate his merciful love." This verse talks about how God uses natural events to discipline or show mercy to human beings, which can be applied to the sending of pests to Egypt in Exodus 9.
