11. Now the angel of the LORD came and sat under the oak at Ophrah, which belonged to Jo'ash the Abiez'rite, as his son Gideon was beating out wheat in the wine press, to hide it from the Mid'ianites.

Judges 6 tells the story of Gideon, a young man who was called by God to lead the Israelites in the fight against the Midianites. '"This verse speaks of the importance of trusting God in times of difficulty. David trusted God to defeat Goliath, and Gideon also trusted God to lead the Israelites against the Midianites. Both men believed that God was with them and could do great things through Him.
