Acts of Apostles 1 is the first chapter of the book that reports the events of the apostles after the rise of Jesus. In this chapter, it is narrated as Jesus appeared to the apostles after his resurrection, giving them instructions and promising baptism in the Holy Spirit. John 14:26: "But the Comforter, the Holy Spirit, to whom the Father will send in my name, he will teach you all things, and remind you of all that I have told you." This verse relates to the promise of the Holy Spirit made by Jesus to his disciples in Acts of the Apostles 1:8, who would be lined with power to be his witnesses all over the world.
