8. And Crispus, the ruler of the synagogue, believed in the Lord, with all his house; and many of the Corinthians hearing, believed, and were baptized.

In Acts of Apostles 18, Paul arrives in Corinth and begins to preach the Word of God, facing challenges and persecution. He is encouraged by the Lord in a vision and remains in the city for a year and a half, forming a strong church and leaving a legacy of teachings. This verse highlights Paul's dedication and commitment to God's work, even in the face of the adversities and difficulties he faced in Corinth.
