Acts of the Apostles 10 tells the story of Cornelius, a Roman centurion who had a vision and sent messengers to Peter to come to him. Peter had his own vision, which led him to understand that God makes no sense of people, and preached the gospel to Cornelius and his family. Acts of the Apostles 10:34-35: "Then Peter began to say, 'Now I truly realize that God does not treat people biased, but of all nations accept everyone who fears him and does what is just.'"
