21. The people came back to Joshua's camp at Makkedah; they were all safe and sound, and no one dared to attempt anything against the Israelites.

Joshua chapter 10 describes the conquest of several cities by the Israelite army, including the battle against the five Amorite kings who joined to fight Gibeom.
