5. 'And when you pray, do not imitate the hypocrites: they love to say their prayers standing up in the synagogues and at the street corners for people to see them. In truth I tell you, they have had their reward.

Matthew 6:24: "No one can serve two gentlemen; for one will hate one and love the other, or devote himself to one and despise the other. You cannot serve God and money." Jesus warns his followers about the idolatry of money and the importance of serving only to God.

Luke 12:22-23: "Therefore, I say unto them, Do not worry about their own lives, as to what to eat or drink; or their own bodies, as to what to wear. It is not the more important life than food and the body more important than clothing? " Jesus teaches about the importance of trusting God to meet daily needs and not worry about the future.
