Genesis, 3

Genesis 3 is the third chapter of the Bible and describes the fall of man in sin. He reports how the serpent tried to eat the forbidden fruit of the tree of knowledge of good and evil, how Eve gave Adam to eat, as God confronted the couple about sin and pronounced the curse over the serpent, the woman and Man, and how God expelled the man and woman from the garden of Eden. Romans 5:12: "Therefore, just as one man entered sin in the world, and by sin death, so death passed to all men, for all sinned." This verse relates to the fall of man in sin and highlights how sin and death entered the world through Adam, as described in Genesis 3.

1 John 2:16: "For all that is in the world, the lust of the flesh, the lust of the eyes and the pride of life, does not proceed with the Father, but proceeds from the world."
