2 Chronicles 32 tells the story of Senaqueribe, king of Assyria, besieting Jerusalem and challenging the God of Israel. Hezekiah, king of Judah, trusted the Lord and led the people in prayer and preparation for battle. God responded to his faith and sent an angel to destroy the Assyrian army. Hezekiah and the people of Judah trusted God and were victorious against the Assyrian army.
