Deuteronomy 27 is a chapter that presents instructions on the ceremony of consecration of God's law in the promised land. Half of the people should stand on Mount Gerizim, and the other half should stay on Mount Ebal, while the priests gave blessings and curses. Deuteronomy 6:6-9: "These words that I command today will be in your heart.
