Exodus 6:6-7: "Therefore, say to the children of Israel, I am the Lord. Isaiah 43:2: "When passing through the waters, I will be with you, and when through the rivers, they will not submerge you; when you pass through fire, you will not burn you, nor the flame will burn in you." This verse speaks of God's faithfulness to protect his people in all situations, just as He did in leading Israel through the desert and in conquering the promised land.
