11. And white robes were given to each of them. And they were told that they should rest for a brief time, until their fellow servants and their brothers, who were to be slain even as they were slain, would be completed.

Revelation 6 deals with the opening of the first six seals of the book in the hands of the Lamb. Each seal represents a series of judgments and events that occur on Earth during the tribulation. The verses selected below were chosen for their relationship with the themes dealt with in the chapter.

Matthew 24:4-5: "Jesus answered, Watch out, may no one deceive them. For many will come in my name, saying, 'I am the Christ!' And they will deceive many." This verse talks about the deception that will occur during the tribulation, when false Christs will arise to confuse people.

Zechariah 1:8-10: "At night I had a vision: I saw a man mounted on a red horse, and he was standing between the gorgens. Behind him were red, brown and white horses. This means, my Lord?
