Ezra 1 reports the restoration of the temple in Jerusalem after the Babylonian Captivity. 2 Chronicles 36:23: "Thus says Cyrus, king of Persia: The Lord God of heaven has given me all the kingdoms of the earth, and in charge of building me a house in Jerusalem, who is in Judah.
