Ezekiel, 3

17. Son of man, I have made thee a watchman to the house of Israel: and thou shalt hear the word out of my mouth, and shalt tell it them from me.

In the third chapter of Ezekiel, the prophet receives a commission from God to become a "sentry" for the house of Israel, and is instructed to eat a roll of book that represents the Word of God. Jeremiah 1:7-8: "But the Lord said to me, Do not say, I am a child; for all to whom I send you, you shall be; and all that will send you, speak. To get you rid, says the Lord. Hebrews 4:12: For the Word of God is alive and effective, and sharper than any two -edged sword, and penetrates to the division of the soul and spirit, and the joints and marrows, and is able to discern them thoughts and intentions of the heart. " God's Word is powerful and effective, and has the power to penetrate even the thoughts and intentions of the human heart. Ezekiel was called to preach this word, and we are also called to share it with the world.
