Joshua, 1

5. There shall not any man be able to stand before thee all the days of thy life: as I was with Moses, [so] I will be with thee: I will not fail thee, nor forsake thee.

Joshua chapter 1 marks the beginning of Joshua's leadership over the children of Israel after the death of Moses. 1 Samuel 18:14: "And David thrived in all his ways, for the Lord was with him." Just as God was with Joshua, he was also with David on his mission. This verse highlights the importance of God's presence and support in our lives.

Psalm 27:14: "Wait for you for the Lord; encourage you, and strengthen your heart; wait for the Lord." God encouraged Joshua to be strong and brave, and this verse also encourages us to trust God in difficult times and wait for him.

" This verse highlights the importance of obeying God's orders and following his command, just as Joshua was commissioned by God to lead his people in conquering the promised land.
