Joshua, 1

4. From the desert and the Lebanon, to the Great River, the Euphrates (the entire country of the Hittites), and as far as the Great Sea to westward, is to be your territory.

Joshua chapter 1 marks the beginning of Joshua's leadership over the children of Israel after the death of Moses. Psalm 27:14: "Wait for you for the Lord; encourage you, and strengthen your heart; wait for the Lord." God encouraged Joshua to be strong and brave, and this verse also encourages us to trust God in difficult times and wait for him.

Just as God promised Joshua that he would be with him in his mission, He also promises to be with us in all circumstances. This verse reminds us that we need not fear, for God is always with us.

Matthew 28:19-20: "Therefore, go, make disciples of all nations, baptizing them in the name of the Father, and of the Son, and of the Holy Spirit; teaching them to observe all the things I have sent you; And behold, I am with you every day, until the consummation of the centuries. " This verse highlights the importance of obeying God's orders and following his command, just as Joshua was commissioned by God to lead his people in conquering the promised land.
