Exodus, 13

18. But God led the people round by the way of the wilderness toward the Red Sea. And the people of Israel went up out of the land of Egypt equipped for battle.

Chapter 13 of Exodus deals with the celebration of the feast of the punes and the consecration of the firstborn. Moses guides the people of Israel to celebrate the feast every year as a memory of the liberation of Egypt, and also establishes the practice of consecrating all the firstborn of men and animals to the Lord. Numbers 18:15: "Every firstborn of all the flesh they present to the Lord, both men and animals, will be yours; yet, you will rescue the firstborn of man, and the firstborn of unclean animals, you will rescue." Exodus 13:7: "For seven days you shall eat bread without yeast, and there will be no yeast bread in all your land, nor any yeast will be seen in all your boundaries." This verse talks about the feast of the pasm bread, which is celebrated in Exodus 13.
