2 Chronicles, 2

4. Behold, I build an house to the name of the LORD my God, to dedicate [it] to him, [and] to burn before him sweet incense, and for the continual shewbread, and for the burnt offerings morning and evening, on the sabbaths, and on the new moons, and on the solemn feasts of the LORD our God. This [is an ordinance] for ever to Israel.

1 Kings 7:13-14: "He sent him to work in gold, silver and bronze, in cut, in claw stones, and in carpentry, and in all kinds of artistic work. And it was found in his art a great skill in working with gold, silver and bronze. " These verses describe Hiram, the artisan sent by Hiram, king of Tire, to work on the construction of the temple. He had skills in working with gold, silver, bronze and other materials, which would be important for the construction of the Solomon temple.
