In it are described the instructions for the priest to perform the atonement ritual for the sins committed by the people of Israel, according to the severity of the transgression. Leviticus 5:5: "When one becomes guilty of any of these things, he will confess what he sinned" this verse highlights the importance of confession of sins, which is a fundamental step towards the realization of the atonement ritual described in Leviticus 4.
Leviticus 6:7: "The priest will do atonement for him before the Lord, and he will be forgiven of any of the things he may have done, bringing guilt." This verse highlights the role of the priest as an intermediary between the sinner and God, making the sacrifice for the sinner to be forgiven.
Leviticus 16:30: "For that day shall make atonement for you to purify you; of all your sins you will be purified before the Lord." This verse refers to the day of atonement, a sacred day to the people of Israel, in which rituals of atonement were performed by the sins of the people.

This verse refers to the role of Jesus Christ as the Perfect High Priest, who made the definitive sacrifice for the sins of humanity, making the regular sacrifices described in Leviticus 4 unnecessary.
