39. With the dough they had brought with them from Egypt, they made cakes of unleavened bread. It had not risen, for when they were driven from Egypt they could not delay and had not even provided themselves with food.

This verse speaks of the faith of Moses and the people of Israel to follow God's instructions to the celebration of Easter, which protected them from death in the tenth plague.

Revelation 5:12 - "What a great voice said, Worthy is the Lamb, who was killed, to receive power, and riches, and wisdom, and strength, and honor, and glory, and thanksgiving." This verse speaks of the worship that will be given to Jesus, the Lamb of God, for all eternity. The celebration of Easter is an annual reminder of salvation that it provided us with.
