Deuteronomy 10 emphasizes God's greatness and goodness, as well as the importance of obeying His commandments. Moses reminds the people of how God renewed the boards of the law after they broke them, and how He guided them through the desert for forty years. He also urges the people to fear the Lord, serve Him with all their hearts and keep the commandments He gave them.
Psalm 111:10: "The fear of the Lord is the principle of wisdom; good understanding have all who fulfill their commandments; their praise remains forever." This verse emphasizes the importance of the fear of the Lord and obedience to his commandments, which is a central theme of Deuteronomy 10.
Proverbs 3:5-6: "Trust the Lord of all your heart, and do not stir in your own understanding. Recognizes him in all your ways, and he will straighten your paths." This verse encourages total confidence in God and the pursuit of his orientation, which is also a theme of Deuteronomy 10.
Isaiah 6:8: "After this I heard the voice of the Lord, who said, whom will I send, and whom will you go to us? Then I said, Here I send me to me." This verse talks about Isaiah's willingness to be sent by God on a mission, an attitude similar to that Moses encourages in the people of Israel in Deuteronomy 10.
Joshua 22:5: "Only be careful to diligent the commandment and the law that Moses, the servant of the Lord, ordered you: May you love the Lord, your God, and you have been in all your ways, and keep your own Commandments, and shall be touched to Him, and will serve Him with all your heart and with all your soul. " This verse emphasizes the importance of diligently to keep God's commandments and to love him with all his heart, as is also mentioned in Deuteronomy 10.
Matthew 22:37-39: "Jesus answered him, Thou shalt love the Lord, thy God, with all thy heart, with all thy soul and with all thy understanding. This is the great and first commandment.
